Cristian Canencio Barbosa is a seasoned chef with a rich and diverse culinary background. Beyond the Michelin spotlight, he honed his skills at acclaimed New York establishments including Prime Meats, Market Table, and Grand Army Bar. His culinary journey led him to Austin, where he embraced the elegance of Japanese cuisine at Uchiko, and to Houston, where he curated intimate omakase experiences at Oheya.
In Miami, Cristian contributed his expertise to Uchi Miami and brought his signature precision and creativity to the chef’s counter at Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay. His philosophy is rooted in simplicity and seasonality, crafting dishes that showcase the finest ingredients with refined technique and depth of flavor.
